We don’t often get a glimpse of the inner workings of an official exorcism, but here are some photos of a number of real live ones, all women, from Church of the Divine Saviour, near Mexico City (This particular congregation apparently has more than its fair share of demons). We have screaming, vomiting, idols, wild gestures and even a child.
Prepare to be underwhelmed.

Prepared…and underwhelmed. Thanks for such thoughtful writing, I’ve just discovered you and am now digging though the older posts. I was raised Christian. Now well into adulthood I’m very “Hitchens” about the whole thing, though, questions and feelings still remain. Good for being an Artist I suppose.
